Project 365 – Day 32 – Giant Lighter
by Xtian on Feb.08, 2010, under Project 365
Went to Divisoria earlier to look for wedding giveaways and i came across this person selling giant lighters. We saw these back in Hong Kong and bought a couple there but the airline wouldn’t allow us to fly back with them. Well, they’re available here now, and it’s cheaper than in Hong Kong…
Durn… the ZuneHD looks tiny beside that thing.

When I first got the iPhone, I thought, wow this is seksay… but since I got my ZuneHD… well… it’s seems so chunky and dull now… heh
My ZuneHD Unboxing
by Xtian on Dec.14, 2009, under Gadgets
Well, my long overdue ZuneHD has finally arrived.
And as the gadget lover I am, I slowly unboxed it, savoring each moment, and of course documenting the whole thing while I was at it.
Zune HD Love
by Xtian on Sep.27, 2009, under Gadgets
Well, it’s been two weeks since the official launch of Microsoft’s Zune HD and there still hasn’t been any word of an international release.
Being the masochist that I am, I looked up some US proxies and snuck my way into http://zunestore.net and customized a 32GB ZuneHD just to punish myself for living in the Philippines.
The ZuneHD is available in 4 colors, namely Black, Platinum, Green and Red. I picked the red color, 32GB, a design pattern by Dan Funderbugh and an inscription of my name, blog and phone number… and the result? An image that will haunt me until I find a way to purchase a Zune from the Philippines…
Update: well, it seems the folks from http://zuneph.blogspot.com have someone on call to do orders from the US and resell them here at the Philippines, dropping them an email now and will see if I can get a ZuneHD from Zuneoriginals.
I want a Zune HD

I just saw the Zune HD video and damn it’s sexy. I was planning to get an iPod touch as a media player sometime next month but daaaaaaaamn… the UI is sexy, it’s slick, it’s smooth, the blacks are deep (this has been a peeve of mine on LCD monitors, TVs, phones…) with an OLED Screen and a Tegra processor, I’m sold. And with the price point at under $300 for the 32 gig version, it’s cheaper than the current iPods.
Now, only if they would make it available here in the Philippines.
Excellent, excellent… perfect companion for me, ample storage for mp3s, the ability to play 720p videos and a lovely screen for presenting photos. Perfect place to store my photo portfolio.
