Project 365 – Day 55 – Moar Art!
by Xtian on Mar.03, 2010, under Project 365
I was asked to photograph another set of paintings by my aunt so I happily obliged. My favorite piece of the day was this simple blue/black/white piece with a sploch of red.
Project 365 – Day 54 – GPS in Manila
by Xtian on Mar.02, 2010, under Project 365
I got this el-cheapo GPS unit from Shanghai late last year and just now that I’ve started to use it. I got maps off Open Street Map Philippines and I must say that it’s pretty complete, it even had building names and traffic lights.
Project 365 – Day 53 – Fried Chicken!
by Xtian on Mar.01, 2010, under Project 365
Old fashioned crispy-fried chicken, just salt, pepper and flour. Nothing fancy, just pure nomnomnom.
Project 365 – Day 52 – Oh lookz! PirateZ!
by Xtian on Feb.28, 2010, under Project 365
I pre-ordered this game from the local Datablitz and as of yesterday, they didn’t have it. Since I live in the Greenhills area (where piracy is rampant) I ran across a copy of Napoleon! The pirates had the copy even before the legit store, well look at that…
I couldn’t wait so I got myself a copy, installing it now. I’ll still probably get the Retail version just for the multiplayer, but I can’t wait to play the single player campaign.
Project 365 – Day 51 – Tangyuan (Glutinous rice balls with peanuts)
by Xtian on Feb.27, 2010, under Project 365
My dad’s aunt sent over some Tangyuan for the Chinese Lantern Festival. She said it was customary to eat these sticky yumyums around this time of the year, being the food lover, how could I say no? These unobtrusive balls looks just like any regular bola-bola but once you bite into it an explosion of flavor erupts from it’s hot center. Stuffed with ground nuts, sesame and sugar, it’s a chewy/crunchy treat that I wouldn’t mind having the whole year round.
Project 365 – Day 50 – I sense a similarity
by Xtian on Feb.26, 2010, under Project 365
I think there’s an unconscious thing here working… looks like most of my gadgets are color coded to be a red-black combination.
Project 365 – Day 49 – DIY Grado Fix
by Xtian on Feb.25, 2010, under Project 365
The lock for my Grado SR-80 headphone broke and popped off last night, I couldn’t find it after 30 minutes of scouring the ground so I decided to use some 3M medical tape. Not too bad if I say so, thinking of looking for pencil toppers to replace both…

by Xtian on Feb.23, 2010, under Project 365
Got lazy, didn’t want to go through the bother of thawing up meat and cooking so I just grabbed a pack of my favorite CDO Skinless Longanisa and fried them up. Not really gourmet, but when hungry, it’s nomnomlicious!

Project 365 – Day 46 – Gear (4)
by Xtian on Feb.22, 2010, under Project 365
One of my final pieces of gear, the Nikon MB-D10 battery grip. It adds an extra 1.5 frames for burst mode (something like that, I forget the exact number) and more importantly it holds an extra battery for those extended shooting sessions, more juice, more photos. Also, it provides me with a comfortable grip on the camera when shooting in portrait mode since I have huge hands
