I was helping my friend Dye cover Goethe Institute’s German Market last December 4 at the Ateneo de Manila High School Ground, it was a reaaaaaaly long day. We were there the whole day and energies were on the low end of the scale, good thing the final event of the day was a performance by Kjwan.  It’s always a treat watching these guys perform and down the home stretch, well, it added a much needed burst of energy to finish off the night with good music.

UPDATE: Globe got in touch with us and asked if we wanted to take down the photos or give credits. Credits would be great I told them. Hopefully the Globe page will reflect the changes soon.

Well… for the nth time one of my photos got lifted off Facebook… It has happened to me so many times that I’ve forgotten the exact number of times my photos were used without my permission. I mean, a small message with a “thank you” and a single line of credit would be nice… but nooooo…. I think the first time was a year and a half ago, posted some concert photos… some girl took the shot, inverted it, plastered her watermark all over it… Then after that it was a newspaper… after that… ahhh… I forgot…

This time, the culprit is Globe Telecom, one of the biggest cellular phone service providers in the Philippines. The big guys at Globe probably don’t know about this, maybe one of the staff lifted the photo (other photos are by my friend Dye and he wasn’t credited too) and used it.

The issue has been reported already, and hopefully a thank you note and due credits are on the way.

After being pushed back a couple of times due to storm Ondoy and Peping, Hele ng Dagat finally pushed through last October 10, 2009. What was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime unplugged set which was sold out long before became an on-the-spot fundraiser for the victims of Ondoy and Peping with the proceeds going to them.

After the raffle, there was an appetizer fashion show done by some college students… all wearing Playboy apparel of course.

Of course, if there are half naked girls, there are also hot blooded males with their weapons… I mean, cameras on bear and ready to fire.

More prizes were given out… but I guess the audience didn’t really care for prizes, they just wanted the playmates to hurry up and get on with the show.

After all of the waiting, the Playmates finally put on their show… and what a show it was!
